Join the information meeting for new international students on Friday the 9th of August. We will be at that meeting giving information about the freshers-week. However, you should have been sent a mail asking you to sign up for the freshers week. If you haven’t received any mail but still want to participate, you can ask us at the meeting.

If you have signed up to be a part of the freshers-week, you will meet your group on Monday the 12th of August. More information about where you meet your group will be given closer to this time.

On Monday you start by meeting up with your freshers-group. Here you will share contact-information, so you can easily come in contact with the rest of your group. The group will then plan what to do next.

In the evening on Monday we have different activities planned that you’re group can choose from:

• Quiz at our faculty’s student bar, Ad Fontes.

• Slush and Singstar night at Hulen

• Party at the nightclub Bryggen Nightclub

On Tuesday there is nothing planned during the day but the freshers-groups are very much free to do activities if they feel like it.

We have planned bar to bar from 17:00-22:00. We will post the program for this later. After this we have booked Biblioteket bar for an afterparty!

On Wednesday there is nothing planned during the day but the freshers-groups are very much free to do activities if they feel like it.

From 15:45 until 16:15 there will be a food station at Studentsenteret for the student at HF.

In the evening we have booked Kvarteret the whole night together with another faculty. Here there will be lots of different activities!

There will also be an outdoor cinema at the Meteorological Institute, where the movie Challengers will be shown. This event starts at 22:00.

During the daytime we have planned Nygårdslekene from 13:00-17:00. Here there will be different stands and games that the freshers-groups can participate in. There will be food for everyone!

In the evening we have booked Skipperstuen for karaoke.

We have also booked Ad fontes for an indoors, laid-back movie night.

On Friday there will be a "Welcome to HF" ceremony, from 14:00 to 16:00. Here there will be speeches and fun activites.

We have booked Ad fontes for the evening, and it will be a quiz there.

During the evening there will be a concert with Dagny, Tyr and Adrian Sellevoll. As new students you will get a discount on tickets to this concert, and we will send out a link to this when the discounted tickets are available.

From 23:00 we have afterparties at multiple locations:
Biblioteket bar, Kulturhuset and JADA

On Saturday Kvarteret will be open and there will be different activities here with some speedfriending, some quiz and silent disco etc. Here there will be possible to buy lunch and eat snacks.
